State of Alabama -- in 2003 we completed development of the Alabama PolicyLinks system. This system covers individual income, corporate income, sales and use and property taxes and provides both receipts and incidence analysis capabilities. The system was used extensively to evaluate proposals during the state tax policy debate in 2003 and is in use today. At competitive bid, we offered the best experience and the best product at a reasonable price.

State of Minnesota -- in 2002 we completed a project (as a subcontractor to American Economics Group, Inc.) to develop estimates of the sales and use "tax gap" for the State of Minnesota. As part of this project, we constructed a sales and use tax model.

American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) -- policy analysts at this Washington, DC trade association have been using the federal individual income tax version of the PolicyLinks system since 2001. The microdatabase underlying this model contains individual income tax information merged with Census information (added in 2002) and Medical Expenditure Panel Survey data (added in 2003). The next incarnation of the database will involve merging the existing database with the Survey of Consumer Finances data.
